LOG

I’m extremely bored. I would vr but my mh monitor turned it off because it says I’m bored. I argued with it for a while, but it had a lot of hard data in the log to back up what it was saying, and then it changed my status to argumentative-due-to-boredom, or some such shit, and I am SO not playing that game. It just does anything to keep you out of “Undesirable Emotional States” so it’ll just keep you going as long as it can, even making kind of weak points sometimes to give you a kind of foothold, but argumentative-due-to-boredom isn’t ranked much better than just plain boredom, so I decided I’d just agree with it to get the agreeableness bonus (you get the bonus even if your mh monitor shows you don’t really agree) to try to improve my log scores a bit, and then try to do something else entirely that might also help out my score. So yeah, I just agreed and then told all of that to the monitor as the rationale and it took off a few points for trying to overtly manipulate the point system but it said I ended up netting a few more into the positive range for committing to take steps in a “Positive Emotional State” kind of direction and honesty and stuff.
I decided one day that I waste too much time vr-ing when I’m bored (my phone keeps sending me notifications about it) so I enabled the mh monitor override. Of course it doesn’t just stop me from vr-ing when I’m bored. When I changed the settings it recommended a few other emotions to include, let’s see... hunger, sadness, anger, impatience, jealousy, greed, ennui, happiness, focus, some other ones I didn’t understand exactly, but anyway they were all on the list so I basically just OKed all the default recommendations. It feels kind of ironic now because I just realized that ever since I changed that setting I’ve pretty much just been feeling all those emotions that were on the list, err... all the bad ones, that is. I mean, it says so on my weekly auto MH-report so that must be right, since I’ve never gotten any error messages from that system. But yeah, I guess I’m getting ahead of myself a little because the whole reason I had to change the settings was that my phone was giving me all these nag screens for a while, and I was just clicking through them without reading, but I happened to look at one the other day and I realized that I was being charged more than usual to ignore them. Like, waaay more than I’m comfortable with, since it was beginning to eat into money that I usually spend on vr.

So I’ve gotten so bored recently that I’ve been looking through a bunch of hobbies to try out but they all seem pretty boring so I’m not sure why I would bother doing them because it’s not going to improve my score if I’m really bored while I’m doing them, right? So I told that to the monitor and I don’t know what happened but now it REALLY wants me to check out some aud of this book “Catch-22”, with like 98% recommendation, but that’s got to be a glitch. I mean, when I got into vr that was only like a 84% recommendation, so it can’t be right.
