Resolutions

1. die.

2. [Here the cursor sits blinking with incredible inattentiveness to context, beckoning the eyes toward its sterile platonic form which spreads above and under it grasping at the infinity extrapolated from its brief segment of pixels on and off repeatedly, regularly, as if it cannot settle on either state, or rather chooses one for an instant and then somehow adjudicates again upon the former with a new set of justifications never to be repeated or exhausted. How many suicide notes have been written in this lonely symbol's semi-presence? How many were deleted in aversion because the writer couldn't cope with its infernal indecision and exchanged the flickering heap of pixels set out before him for some other form of communication more profound, more persistent, more personable, more ephemeral, more nostalgic? A typewriter, the currents of air issued from somewhere above the chin received only by the ears present in that instant, a video tape, chiseled in the ancient stone of some unknown cave, a quill pen plucked from an angry goose dawdling before a window encased in stone caught by its orange webbed feet and flipped asunder, its neck whipping out below striking like a beaked whip upon its oppressor who calmly searches its wings for that certain feather which will allow him to perfectly execute his letter and his life, seething with that inconsolable agony of the mind which ignores pain and works on single-pointedly, ever seeking that one last thing before it puts itself to a decidedly final end (answers in order of obverse respect). And then those who left no note at all, the most mysterious or capricious or impatient or misunderstood or content or Zen or laconic or concise or zealous of all. But in some sense every one of them is such a silly thing, considering its offered for free if you will only wait to meet back up with it at the predetermined place, that eternal rendezvous, don't tell me you don't know the place, I know that already and don't know the place myself, though expected it will be and has been a familiar place for all that go there, and all do go there and all are there already. Now.]
